Summary: In this fiction "Rose had started her new life in los Angeles after the tragedy of Titanic. She became independent with the help of Robert Brown. She met Jim Calvert. She found him an allegiant person. He had same interests like Jack. She married with him. After that she stayed happily with her children and grandchildren. But she never forgets Jack in her whole life”.


It was July 2, 1912 Rose was taken by the Royal Mail Ship Carpathia to New York. The Custom Officer asked her,” Can I have your name, love”?
She said, “Rose Dawson”. She lost her sense and felt down.
The next day, Rose woke up and she found herself in hospital.
Rose said, “What happen to me doctor”?
The doctor replied, “Rose you were admitted to hospital yesterday in unconscious condition. How are you feeling? “
“I am okay, Thanks.” said Rose
The doctor said,” What is your address?”
Rose cried, “I do not have any home. I had lost everything in Titanic tragedy”.
The doctor felt sorry for her. Rose was shifted to Women Aid Association. Rose requested Women Association Manager Mrs. Elliot that she wants to start her life again in Los Angeles.
She was happy with Rose’s decision .She contributed her $200 and arranged her train ticket to Los Angeles. She also bought clothes and suitcase for her.

On July 15, 1912 Rose reached at Los Angeles. Rose booked the room for two weeks in “Golden Lotus Motel”. She took her luggage to the room. She was still wearing Cal’s coat. She put her hands in her pocket and found the “heart of the ocean” necklace. She remembered the day when she asked Jack to sketch her drawings while wearing only the Heart of the Ocean. She decided to keep this safely as the remembrance of her love Jack.
The next morning Rose went to find a job. But she had no luck with any job. Rose was sad and back on her way to motel. Suddenly, she heard her name. She turned back and saw it was Mrs. Molly Brown.
Rose exclaimed excitedly,” Oh! Aunty Molly”
“Rose, you are alive. I am glad to see you. Where is Jack”? said Aunty Molly
Rose said in low voice,” My Jack was dead. He had sacrificed his life for me.”
Aunty Molly felt regret for Rose. She asked Rose, “Why did not you come back to your home "?
Rose told Aunty Molly that she wanted to stay away from her selfish mother and arrogant Cal. She wanted to start a new life without restraints.
Aunty Molly told Rose that her mother was died from heart attack. She did not know anything about Cal. She said that she came to Los Angeles to visit her son and his family.
Aunty Molly invited Rose on dinner. Aunty Molly and his son picked up Rose. He said to Rose,” My name is Robert Brown. My mum told me about you. Please let me know if you need any help”.
Rose requested him to find a job for her. After dinner, they dropped Rose. On the way Aunty Molly told Rose that she is going back tomorrow.
The next day Robert rang rose and told her that he had arranged a job for her in “Harris Whiteman” cafeteria. She can start work from tomorrow. He gave the address to Rose.
The next morning, she woke up and got ready for her work. She caught the train and reached at “Harris Whiteman” Cafeteria. She went inside and asked lady at front counter,” Good Morning madam, my name is Rose. Can I see owner please”?
The lady replied,” Hello Rose, My name is Mrs. Janet Whiteman. I am the owner of this cafeteria. Robert told me that you are looking for job. I hope you enjoy working with us.” Rose started work in Cafeteria.

On 3rd September 1912, Jim Calvert entered “Golden Lotus” Cafeteria. Calvert was a rich person. Mrs. Whiteman already knew him. She said, “May I take your order, Sir”?
“One Coffee, Please” said Calvert
Rose made the coffee and bring for him. He was shocked to see Rose. Rose was his dream girl.
Calvert came to her work every day. One day he invited Rose for dinner. Mrs. Whiteman told Rose that Calvert is an allegiant person. She should go with him. Rose agreed to Calvert for dinner.
They went to a small restaurant outside the town. After dinner, Calvert presented her a painting. That was Rose’s painting.
Rose exclaimed excitedly, “who did this painting”?
“Rose, you can call me Jim. I did this painting. I am not professional artist, but I love to do the art work.” replied Calvert.
Rose said, “Thanks for dinner and painting, Jim.”
Calvert told Rose that his family had expired in car accident and Rose told him that she had lost her family in Titanic Tragedy. They both regretted for each other. Rose found that Jim and Jack had many similarities between them.
One day Jim proposed Rose for marriage. Rose agreed with him. They both get married. But she never forgets Jack and she placed the “heart of ocean” in safe place at her home. Rose had successful marriage. The old Rose went to the Lovett's ship. She dropped the diamond into the water, sending it to join the joyous moments, she had spent with Jack. Rose had grandchildren and she lived for 110 years long.
